aboutus

The McBryde Terrace site was first introduced into the Higgins family by Vincent Higgins, as a Dry Cleaning and Laundry business, in November 1960.

By the mid 1980s the Dry Cleaning business was transformed into the Garden Centre that still operates to this day. Three generations of the Higgins family have contributed to the business to make it the success it now is.

The Whyalla Garden Centre has been a locally owned and operated business for four decades now, attracting customers from the Upper Spencer Gulf & Eastern Eyre Peninsula.

Over the years, the business has become home to a wonderful gift shop, with a wide range of gift lines and indoor furniture to provide inspiration for any home. With new gift lines arriving regularly, the Garden Centre is able to follow the seasons with something different to see at any time of the year.

You don’t need green fingers to have a lovely garden or veggie patch. The Garden Centre staff will put you on the right track. They are well stocked with best range of gifts one could wish for.
